I received a call from someone claiming to represent Sky, but it became clear quite swiftly that it was merely a fraudster attempting to wrest my banking information away from me.

The phone rings, but as soon as I answer, there’s nothing but silence, and then they just hang up!

No idea who keeps ringing me since whenever I pick up, they just cut off right away. They call me loads, like around 3 to 8 times a week, sometimes even more than that. Blocking their number doesn’t help at all because they just tweak the last few numbers and ring me again. It’s really frustrating and feels like harassment.

Thought about telling the police but honestly, they just don't seem bothered. Sadly, they'll probably only act when someone innocent gets caught up in it, by then it'll be too late.
