Just like the callers mentioned before, this one said they were from Sky and that my service was about to be cut off or something. Since I dont even have Sky, I figured right away it was a scam. I told them I was gonna report them to the Police Scam line, which I actually did. Its really worrying because I know some elderly folks who might get tricked by this kind of thing.

Got a call again from this same number today. I asked where they got my landline from and they said ''you provided it when you joined sky''. If that’s true, is sky just handing out our details? Definitely don’t share any info with them! I rang my phone company and they told me they can’t block the number. Apparently, I’d have to buy a call blocker for about £100. Why should I have to pay for this? Something really needs to be done about it!

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming to be from Sky, saying my breakdown cover couldn’t be paid by monthly direct debit anymore. Total nonsense! When I told her she wasn’t actually from Sky, she asked who’d given me that info, then claimed she was working for some third party on behalf of Sky. Once I told her there’s no way I’d give my card details over the phone, she got quite rude and snapped, “Well, you can keep paying £11.99 a month if it makes you happy.” They’re proper pests, this is the third time they've rung me in just two days.

Got a call on our home phone earlier once more from those lot, and just like always, they hung up straight away once our voicemail picked up. I reckon the number they showed was fake, so don’t take it for granted it’s really coming from Nottingham. They’ve got their gear programmed to ring loads of numbers at once, so I changed our machine to answer after just two rings. Hopefully that’ll bug them a bit since we’re usually the first one they hit with the message!

I’m guessing the number showing isn’t even real, probably faked to look like it’s from Nottingham. This bloke, who sounded like he might’ve been from somewhere in Asia, rang me up pretending he was from Sky. He started going on about a warranty that I’d never even bought that had apparently run out. Pretty sure it was a dodgy attempt to get my bank info by offering some kind of ‘new warranty’, but I just told him to shove off and ended the call.
