Cheers for the info. I've decided to cancel my Talktalk since I’m not keen on paying £25 a month for broadband when I can get it free elsewhere. Sick of all the cold calls as well. My landline’s been disconnected and I only check it now and then for a bit of fun. Mostly, I’m using my mobile with broadband on a fixed price deal that won’t change unless I want it to.

Surely BT must have a means to put a stop to these calls? I'm sceptical about them being from Nottingham, to be honest. This really highlights how BT could take proactive measures by blocking all calls that come without an ID. They ought to have the capability to route international calls through a series of servers to screen out any suspicious ones.
