I received a call from this number, which turned out to be Eon. We had sent them an email requesting a callback, as we had been on hold with their customer support for a whopping 50 minutes. Unfortunately, we missed the call, so we tried to return it, only to discover that this number won’t accept incoming calls. How frustrating is that?

We've had a few calls from this number on our mobile, yet they’ve never left a message. It's rather curious and I suspect it might be Powergen. To be honest, I reckon they're trying to sort out an issue we raised with Energywatch regarding some rather intimidating correspondence we received from them. Energywatch does have a section dedicated to grievances about unfair or dubious practices, so it wouldn't be surprising if, after enough people report these calls, they decide to investigate further. Who knows, maybe this will prompt Powergen to reevaluate their approach!

Received a call from this number earlier today, but as soon as I answered, the line went dead. Tried calling them back, but it seems this number doesn’t take incoming calls. I’m quite baffled by it all, only now realising the significance of the call thanks to these number lookup services that are out there.

Can you imagine? It was just past 1pm on a Saturday when this number rang me up. Who on earth phoned at such an hour on a Sunday? It’s absolutely ridiculous! Surely there must be some regulations to prevent such nonsense.

It's rather bewildering, isn't it? We've been receiving persistent calls from these individuals claiming we owe them £6,000 for gas. The reality is, we reside independently and have had no dealings with them. The moment they asked us to provide the meter reading, we discovered a discrepancy - the numbers on their end did not align with the readings we took from the actual meter, which, might I add, doesn't even exist in our property! It’s absolutely outrageous, and frankly, they’re just trying to pull a fast one on us. Complete and utter muppets.

Indeed, it appears that this might be E.ON. We received an email indicating that the direct debit on our account has been terminated, and we're now required to settle a balance of £200 within the next seven weeks. Earlier today, we arranged a new direct debit online and made a payment of £30. Additionally, we sent them an email explaining that we are unable to pay the full amount immediately. Despite this, these individuals keep calling us repeatedly.

It genuinely felt as though we were being monitored to figure out when someone is at home. Quite frankly, it’s rather shabby conduct for a service that’s meant to be reliable! Feeling rather unsettled about it all.

They persistently ring us up, and each time we’ve made it clear we can’t settle the bill until it's manageable for us. We’ve just cleared our previous payment only a couple of days ago, and this current one isn’t even due for another week! It’s baffling how they can justify such exorbitant charges, employing staff just to sit about phoning people for bills that aren’t even payable yet! Follow our lead and demand to speak with a manager; make sure you lodge a formal complaint. What a bunch of muppets!
