Got calls from this so-called Eon number, but if you block it, they just ring back from a different number that’s only one digit off. Total scam.

I received a voicemail urging me to return their call-purportedly from E-ON. The trouble is, I don’t actually hold an account with them. So, when I rang back, the automated system immediately began requesting my account information and then proceeded to probe for even more details. At that point, I figured it was best to hang up.

I've been receiving daily calls from this number claiming to be E.On, supposedly with some urgent information about my account. The thing is, I've never even signed up with E.On; I'm with EDF Energy instead! I tried blocking the number, yet somehow I'm still getting messages urging me to ring them back. It's rather frustrating, isn't it?
