The number 0115 838 7543 called me twice. On the first ring, they just cut off without saying anything. The second time, someone asked if they were talking to Mrs GXXX PXXXX, but that’s not me as they clearly had the wrong name - I actually changed my last name a few years ago so not sure where they found that info! It definitely seemed like a sales call. I told them to stop using my phone number and then they ended the call. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

When I asked what U Benefit was, she said it was a brand linked to BT and TalkTalk. Then I asked where she was ringing from, and she said somewhere in South East Asia. I told her I was 99 years old and couldn’t handle any more expenses, especially during the Covid mess. She said thanks and hung up on me. Total scam, don’t trust it!
