Picked up the phone, but strangely, there was silence on the other end. After a brief pause, the call just cut off. It’s either a bunch of pranksters or folks without a clue, really.

I received a call from this number earlier. When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end, and after about five seconds, the call just disconnected as if they’d decided to hang up abruptly. Quite odd, really!

I’m afraid I can’t connect; we’ve got a call screening service in place and this number has now been added to the block list. We bought a BT phone last year, and it’s certainly made a difference in reducing all those ridiculous calls about issues with our computer, PPI claims, and the like.
