Someone keeps phoning me asking for a Mr Attwood, but they’re getting the wrong number. They’ve rang twice now.

Even after I asked them to stop, they kept ringing my phone non-stop.

They keep calling my 91-year-old mum nonstop. Each time, they get her sharing her entire life story, then try to pitch mobility clothing. The next day, we always get a call from a rep pushing for an appointment. They ring so often, knowing she’s quite vulnerable. I’m constantly having to tell her to say NO. When my dad was around, he got scammed - not by mobility wear, but he ended up paying £11,000 for a tiny sofa set with two chairs. I could easily have found the same thing elsewhere for about £5,000 and it’d have been better quality. Plus he got these rising and lowering beds where the mattress lasted less than two years - what a waste of money and a load of dodgy numbers to call again. I always recommend buying where you can actually see and try the product for yourself.

I saw a call from this number on my phone, so I've gone ahead and blocked it. Fingers crossed it doesn’t bother me anymore.

Got a call from these lot who wouldn't tell me where they were ringing from. They wanted me to prove who I was even though they’d dialled me first. They said they were from some mobility help service but wouldn’t say who’d sent them our way. Then, out of nowhere, they just hung up on me. They kept saying they’d just been talking to someone needing mobility stuff. I looked up the number and found loads of reports saying they connect customers to sales reps nearby.

I’m so over getting these annoying calls, seriously something needs to be done. Whoever shared my number with them should really be held accountable.
