got a call from someone saying they were from spark energy asking about my bill, but they used my married surname which they really shouldn't know. i left that company over a year ago, about 18 months and before i even got married, so it felt a bit dodgy. when i told him that, he just hung up straight away. not sure if it’s a scam or what, but it definitely seemed fishy and like some sort of phishing attempt to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Spark Energy, asking for me by my married name. Thing is, I haven’t been a customer of theirs for over a year and a half. When I told the bloke that, he just hung up straight away. Looking back, it’s weird they even knew my new surname since I left them long before I got married. Keeps ringing non stop every single day, honestly can't take it anymore. I finally blocked the number but now just getting loads of others. It's driving me mad!
