someone rang me saying they were from royal london but i wasnt convinced, sounded dodgy to me!

I picked up the phone and just as I said hello, the line suddenly went silent. It left me feeling a bit weird. Maybe it's one of those insurance scams since my policy is up for renewal soon.

So they rang me up talking about life insurance, trying to see if I could get any discounts. Their English was pretty rubbish and they kept asking all these personal questions. I just messed about on the phone for a bit to waste their time before finally hanging up.

I picked up the phone and there was silence for a good few seconds. Then I heard a click like someone joining the call. A lady asked if our director was around, using his first name. When I told her he wasn't free, she just ended the call straight away. Definitely feels like a spam call to me.
