I’ve been inundated with calls from this number and a few others lately. To avoid the hassle, I’ve started either switching my phone off or putting it on silent mode, which has been a right lifesaver. As for my landline, I've also adopted a new strategy: I don’t pick up unless I’ve verified who’s calling. If the number is unfamiliar or not saved in my contacts, I simply let it ring. It's a much more peaceful way to handle it all!

I called the number 0115 8240833 from my landline and they cut me off like 5 times before I got to speak to someone who just asked for my name. Told em to bugger off and asked who they even were. They said Red Star and mentioned something about PPI, no surprise there! Since then, I've rang back about 15 times using different numbers just for a laugh lol.

Got called 6 times within like 10 mins then twice more an hour later. Same thing happened yesterday too. I never share my number with anyone. The only guess I have is from the job sites I visit. It should be against the law for companies or folks to just hand out your details like that.

Got a call from Red Star asking if I had a Capital One or MBNA card. I told them it’s a business line and to send any personal info to my email. They said we gotta talk face-to-face but the refund will either go to charity or they’d just keep it. I just hung up and blocked the damn moron.

I told the daft sod I don’t even have an account with that bank and to stop bothering me. Then he had the cheek to say I was wasting his time! I told him he wasted mine by ringing me. They keep phoning me using loads of different numbers from all over. They claimed to be from Red Star but I told them to get lost and take my number off their list. Sometimes if you pick up, they just stay silent. Now I just answer quietly without saying anything. Every time they call I just block the number straight away.
