SCAMMERS, THIEVES, RUDE: I got a call from someone pretending to be Microsoft. When I questioned them, they started swearing and calling me names like idiot and moron. The caller just wouldn’t calm down and kept yelling. It makes me wonder why VIRGIN MEDIA even allows these fraudsters to offer contract support when they’ve been reported repeatedly?

Got a call from someone saying he was from Microsoft. When I told him I don’t own any Microsoft gear, he actually called me a liar! The bloke had a pretty thick foreign accent, sounded Asian to me. He kept threatening that I was somehow letting hackers into all my tech stuff. Proper dodgy.

Some bloke rang, said he was from Sky and that my broadband was playing up. I said I reckoned it was a scam and asked him who was on the account. He wouldn’t say and started getting really annoyed. Then, he told me to **** off and just cut the call. Proper rude!

Got a call on my mobile from a 0191 number, a woman claimed she was from Sky. When I asked for her exact location, she said Sky’s London branch, but she sounded quite Asian. I told her outright she was trying to scam me and told her to jog on. Then, weirdly, I got a call on my landline from the exact same number that called me earlier. It’s like they managed to nick my phone details from somewhere! Also noticed that the 0191 number just vanished from my mobile call log. Proper dodgy.
