My elderly mum got a call from 01157940276 about some insurance for her telly back in 2019. The bloke kept pushing that she owed them cash now. When mum said no way, the guy got all defensive and insisted it wasn’t a scam. He claimed to be from HYC Services, something about home care. Being careful, mum checked with the bank and found out this company isn’t even registered anywhere. Honestly, don’t hand over any money to these lot - it’s definitely a con.

Got a call from some homecare people claiming I owed them £189.99. They were really pushy, saying I signed up for some free home cover back in 2019 for two years, and now I had to pay up. My bank looked into it and found no record of any payment from us starting it, plus we never had any paperwork. Honestly, it was pretty stressful. We definitely never signed up for any cover like that.
