Just like someone else mentioned here, when I answered there was a pause before someone finally came on the line, which made me think it was probably one of those call centres. The person said they were calling from 3 mobile, trying to sell me a deal on the newest iPhone models. I told them I’m not a 3 customer (even though I use a different company that actually runs on the 3 network). It definitely felt dodgy to me.

I answered the phone and there was this weird pause like they were trying to patch me through, you know, typical call centre stuff. Then as soon as it finally went through, they just ended the call right away.
