Got a spam call where they wanted to talk to the person who had my number more than 10 years ago. Not just annoying, but they’re definitely breaking Data Protection laws by holding onto and using someone’s info from that long ago for who knows what, probably nothing related to why it was originally given. Got a call from someone asking for a person named “Roulette,” like the casino game or something. Then they wanted my real name, but I wasn’t giving it out since they didn’t even say who they were first. The guy sounded like he expected me to get angry, you could hear it in his tone. He said his name was Kevin, but there was definitely an Asian accent which made me doubt that was true. Not trying to judge but it's fair to say the odds of him really being Kevin were pretty slim. Said something about a survey and then just hung up. Best to steer clear.

Not sure, I didn’t pick up, but if I did I’d probably tell them I’m the sole survivor of a crash that wasn’t my fault and got a £1 mill payout, so I’m living the dream like I won the lottery. Honestly, I’ve got loads of cash and no clue what to do with it all - fancy some?

I reckon he’s more of an annoyance than an actual threat, just way too slow to be harmful. Took him ages to catch on that I was having a laugh. After he checked that I was supposedly in a crash that wasn’t my fault, from way back in the early 70’s! Just put him on block, honestly. Though looking at my recent calls, he’s tried ringing through the block a few more times - daft muppet.

Got a scammer on the phone earlier, now blocked with the auto-reject feature. These muppets seriously have no clue. Normally I mess about with them a bit - like, if they ring asking if I’ve been involved in a crash, I say something nuts like “Oh mate, thanks for calling, it’s been awful. There’s blood everywhere and I went mad when I caught my partner in bed with someone else. I used a cricket bat, and now I’ve no idea what to do about the mess or the bodies.” I barely let them get a word in, and usually when I pause for a sec, they end up silent and hang up. Then straightaway I chuck the number on auto-reject. Makes my day.

Is it just me or does the blocking feature activate right when you pick up? They begin talking and then suddenly the tone that blocks calls comes on and cuts them off. My block list is massive now. Some bloke said his name was Sorjornas or somethin' like that when he rang me. When I asked where he was calling from, he just kept goin' on about "oh, so I'm talkin' to..." I kept pushin' him to say who exactly was calling, but he only gave me his name. Eventually, he fessed up that he was with "I Love My Offers" and wanted me to do some quick survey. Seems dodgy to me, pretty sure it's some sorta scam...
