Somebody mentioned a car crash, I just stayed quiet, then I heard them coughing loads on the call. They sounded proper ill, but even so, you'd think they'd know to mute themselves, not very professional at all.

I picked up a call from this number and the person on the other end was mad aggressive. I told her I hadn’t been in any accident and she insisted she had a file saying otherwise, saying I wasn’t listening and that if I did I’d understand. I kept saying I had no accident and she got really rude. I asked her to take my details off her system and she refused, which I think breaks data protection rules. She said people would keep calling me anyway but it wouldn’t be her since I said she was rude, then she just hung up. Seriously annoying! This number is definitely blocked now.

Ended up in a proper row with this bloke after I wouldn't say if I'd been in an accident the past three years. Then he just said it was my problem and that they'd keep calling me every day. He even tried to claim he was calling on behalf of the Government, which was well odd. I've been bombarded with calls from a chap going on about having had a minor accident over the past three years, and apparently I'm due some compensation. I thought, “Well, that sounds splendid; just send me the cash then!” But he quickly informed me that it wasn’t as straightforward as that. When I requested the name of his company, he mentioned Motor Investigations. Curiosity got the better of me, so I inquired about their address, but he refused to divulge that information! I insisted he remove my number from their list, to which he responded that he was unable to do so, indicating that the calls would persist. At that point, I’d had enough and hung up the call.

I've seen similar tales from others regarding these incessant calls about a so-called 'slight bump in my car' that took place in the last three years. When I probed further, the chap had the audacity to question my memory-can you believe it? That wasn’t the brightest move on his part, and let's just say the conversation didn’t go well for him after that. It must be a truly demoralising job they have, but that’s no excuse for rudeness, especially when you encounter someone who's not afraid to stand their ground. I've had enough, and they’re now firmly blocked.
