I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from an insurance firm named "Domestic Alliance." They were pitching some kind of maintenance insurance for my washing machine. It turned out this bloke was just a con artist attempting to filch my banking information!

I received a call from this number at precisely 10:08 on Monday, 2nd January 2023. The person on the other end seemed to be inquiring about my washing machine, asking if everything was functioning properly. I'm a bit on the fence about whether it was a scam or not, and after posing a couple of questions, I chose not to continue the conversation. After a rather awkward silence lasting about 15 to 20 seconds, they abruptly ended the call.
