I keep getting missed calls from different Nottingham numbers and finally answered one today. It was a sharp sounding English woman who didn’t seem to have any strong local accent. She said she wanted to discuss a tax refund with me. I asked what the rebate was about so I could check with my accountant, but she just said my accountant would know and then hung up. Not really sure if it’s some trick to grab my bank info and nick my cash, or if they try to hijack your tax refund and charge a massive commission.
