Didn’t recognise the number at all, thought it looked like spam. I’ve gone ahead and flagged it as risky and blocked it straight away.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, probably some spammy scam. Honestly, it’s like they think everyone’s daft! Poor folks who actually believe their rubbish must have no luck at all.

Had a call from a young lady who started by asking how I was and commented on what a nice day it was. Then, quite like some other calls I’ve had before, she suddenly wanted to know about any car finance I’d had in the past six years. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam.

They didn’t say anything, just hung up. I blocked the number straight away.

I picked up the call, but there was no reply on the other end, and then they simply disconnected! When I tried ringing back, a recorded message informed me it was housing triage. I was prompted to hit 1 if I wished to talk to a consultant. Quite puzzling, really!

This number called me again today, not the first time either. Definitely seemed like a scam! The voice was sketchy and I couldn’t make out who it was. When I asked, they actually knew my first name! They claimed to be from some legal firm, asking about car finance I supposedly had over the past five or six years. I told them I’ve never had any car finance. Then they said they’d take me off their list and hung up straight away. I’ve blocked the number now. Let’s wait and see if they bother to call again!

I got a call from a number that my phone flagged as maybe a scam. Since I don’t know anyone living near Nottingham, I just let it ring out and then blocked it straight away.
