This number keeps ringing me every day and sending loads of spam texts. Thankfully, my phone has a spam filter that blocks most of them, so I just ignore the calls. I've noticed they also call from another number with the same area code.

Had this pushy woman call me claiming she needed to go over my life insurance. I told her straight up I wasn’t interested and suspected it was a scam. She insisted it was a legit firm and said they got my info from some third party, but couldn’t actually say which one. I told her again to remove my details and leave me alone, and she just said, “Suit yourself, you’re the one losing out.” Really wish there was some way to stop these annoying calls.

Got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent. She said she was ringing about my life insurance. When I asked her which policy, she avoided answering and flipped it back asking why I got life insurance in the first place, bit cheeky. Told her straight up she was a fraud and to stop calling me. Then, funnily enough, I got another scam call later that same day. Must be a decent gig for them.

I received a call just as my life insurance was due for renewal. When I mentioned I'd prefer to deal with my existing provider, the woman on the line became quite aggressive. I even heard her mutter something unkind, thinking I had already hung up. Quite shocking behaviour! 😠

I only noticed they’d called when I was looking through my recent calls on BT Call Protect. I was definitely in the house when it happened but the phone didn’t ring at all, so it seems like BT is catching on and blocking these scam calls straight away. Fingers crossed they do the same for other scam numbers, cos that’s pretty much all I get on my landline now.

I just got a call from this number and told them to delete my info. The guy on the line accused me of being racist and said the only reason I spoke to him like that was ‘cause he wasn’t from here. Then he threatened to call me morning, afternoon and night until I spoke to him. I asked again for them to remove my data, citing my GDPR rights, and he got really hostile and wouldn’t tell me his name or the company, so I could complain properly.

I received a call today, February 16th, around 10am from someone in Liverpool. They addressed me by my first name, which was quite spot on! The caller mentioned they were conducting a review of my life insurance policy, which I do have, but couldn’t specify which provider they represented, despite it being a well-established firm. They went on about three options linked to my policy. The voice sounded like a lovely lady, perhaps from Africa, but I was on my way to visit my poorly mother, having just heard the distressing news. I explained this to her, but she continued discussing her points. I didn’t want to come off as impolite, so I just said I needed to go and ended the call.

This number rang me but I didn’t pick up. I checked Google and saw a comment just before mine mentioning some Indian bloke going by Daniel Smith... Thats actually my name too! They’re definitely using other people’s names and will probably ring again later. Proper scammy money hunters, no doubt.

Got a call from a bloke called "Daniel Smith" who spoke with a strong Indian accent, trying to sell me life insurance. I told him he hardly sounded like a "Daniel Smith" and that proper life insurance agents don’t just keep ringing up strangers out of the blue. Pretty sure it’s a scam to gather personal info. Really dodgy stuff!

Received two calls from this chap. He claimed to have been informed that I had a chat last week with someone else who was trying to pull a fast one on me, and he proceeded to mimic what was said in that prior conversation. Naturally, I was curious about how he had access to such information, considering I hadn’t given anyone the nod to share my details or the earlier discussion. I recognised this must be the same individual. I pointed out that he was in violation of GDPR regulations, suggesting his operations were suspicious at best. His response was nothing short of rude; he accused me of acting as if I were royalty, and went on to say I might lose my job for my tone. He hurled insults my way before abruptly hanging up. Interestingly, he identified himself as Matthew after a rather prolonged pause, clearly scrambling to come up with a name.

Someone rang me claiming to be from "life protect" about my life insurance. I’ve no clue who they are and I don’t even have a policy with them. They had my name though, so it looks like my info’s been shared without my consent.

They said it was a free annual check-up for life insurance and said they were insurance brokers. The first person asked loads about my policy, like cost, coverage, mortgage length, funeral cover and all that, then handed me over to someone else who wanted my personal info - phone number, postcode, you name it. I said no thanks. The person on the line was quite nice about it, explained why they needed the details and wished me well, but still, I got a weird feeling about it. Seeing lots of similar comments here recently makes me even more wary!

Got a call about life insurance and some free check-up. As soon as I said I wasn’t interested, they started to put words in my mouth. Even after sayin no loads of times, they just kept pushing to sell me something. Got called three times from this number today alone. Best to block it if it rings you.

The person sounded pretty nice and explained why they needed it, even wished me a good day, but I couldn’t shake the feeling it was dodgy. Noticed loads of reviews on here about them just recently too!

Then they put me through to the main person who wanted my personal info, but I just refused. The person on the phone sounded quite reasonable and told me why they needed that info, but I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was fishy - seeing all these comments about them here recently didn’t help either!

Got a call out of the blue from this number. A woman who said her name was Jade said she was ringing from a life insurance review company. She claimed she was offering a free review of my life insurance. When I asked if she was trying to sell me something, she just hung up. I got a rather unwelcome phone call from a person who introduced herself as "Jessica." To be honest, she couldn't even pronounce my name correctly, and with her thick accent, it was quite clear that something wasn't right. She was prattling on about life insurance, which I promptly told her I wasn't interested in, and I quickly figured out she was just trying to pull a fast one on me. I told her as much and kindly suggested she should take a hike before hanging up.
