The number showed up as ID Mobile, which I’d just recently switched to. Total rip-off! They claimed I was owed a tax refund, but why would a mobile network be dealing with HMRC? Don’t pick up if you get a call like that. My phone went crazy and the screen froze, couldn’t even hang up. I kept telling them it was a scam a few times, then had to reboot my phone to finally cut the call. Number’s definitely blocked now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the tax office - total scam. Told them to buzz off and blocked the number straight away.

Received a message that claimed to be from HM Revenue and Customs, stating I was due a tax rebate and urging me to click on a link to make a claim! Given that I'm not even a taxpayer, I smell a scam. Blocked that number immediately!

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC saying I have a tax refund waiting. They sent me a link to click on to get the money, but the weird part is I don't even pay tax! Feels like a scam, watch out everyone!
