Had some rubbish about home heating, mentioned a fake letter supposedly sent in November, then went on about solar panels and being approved. They asked if I owned the property - I said no. Caller said sorry and ended the call. Number was 01157629937. Sounds like a dodgy "HELP FOR HOMES" scam. Might be best to let Sherlock handle this one.

This for sure is a Nottingham number. I’m not saying it couldn’t be a fake but the 0115 code is definitely from Notts. If someone really wanted to talk to me they’d try harder than just ringing again the next day with a different number. Come on, people, be alert!

I had an unpleasant encounter with this chap who was rather irate when I turned down his offer. He claimed to be ringing from some sort of energy assistance centre and was keen to chat about my gas and electricity charges. He even brought up solar panels in the mix. Quite the pushy and unwanted caller, to say the least!

I got calls from two numbers that were identical except for the last digit, one rang on 12th August and the other today. Neither of the numbers were familiar, so I just let them go to voicemail. ***SCAM ALERT*** This number claims to be from Nottingham but i’m from Nottingham myself and i can tell you there are NO legitimate numbers starting with 0115 7 - these are just fake numbers being used! Someone called my elderly mother-in-law and kept asking for me. No idea how they knew my name linked to her phone since i’m not connected to that number at all. The caller was really pushy saying it was my number. Luckily i told my mother-in-law to just hang up and thank god she listened.

It seems this is a number linked to Nottingham, considering 0115 is the local dialing code. Having lived in Nottingham my entire life, I can assert that this number commences with 0115 7, which suggests it’s likely been manipulated to look local. Just yesterday, it rang my 85-year-old mother-in-law, who claimed the caller was adamant it was my number and insisted on speaking to me. I have zero connection to that number, so it’s absolutely a scam or some sort of nuisance call! Without a doubt, it's a phony number!
