Without a doubt, this number hails from Nottingham. I’m not ruling out the possibility of it being a spoof, but let’s not kid ourselves—0115 is unmistakably linked to the Nottingham area. If someone genuinely wants to get in touch with me, they ought to try a bit harder than ringing back the following day with a different digit or two. Time to wise up, UK!

I received a call from 01157729937, and the caller inquired if I was indeed who I claimed to be, mentioning that I hadn't signed up for a particular programme. I informed them that I'm currently renting. Their response was simply "okay," and then they abruptly hung up. I tried reaching out via text afterwards, but I've not heard anything back.

This number is definitely a con artist! It claims to be local to Nottingham, but residing here, I can tell you that no one uses an 0115 7****** prefix in our area. Just avoid picking up that call and make sure to block the number!

I had an unpleasant encounter with this chap who was rather irate when I turned down his offer. He claimed to be ringing from some sort of energy assistance centre and was keen to chat about my gas and electricity charges. He even brought up solar panels in the mix. Quite the pushy and unwanted caller, to say the least!

I noticed that a similar number, varying only by the final digit, reached out to me on 12th August and then again today. Neither of these calls rang any bells for me, so I opted not to pick up. Having lived in Nottingham my entire life, I can assert that this number commences with 0115 7, which suggests it’s likely been manipulated to look local. Just yesterday, it rang my 85-year-old mother-in-law, who claimed the caller was adamant it was my number and insisted on speaking to me. I have zero connection to that number, so it’s absolutely a scam or some sort of nuisance call! Without a doubt, it's a phony number!
