I got a call from this really pushy woman who somehow knew my name, birthday, and even my address. She asked if I’d been to Lloyds Bank recently, which was a bit creepy, especially since I don’t actually bank there. When I said no, she quickly switched to Halifax and a few other banks, claiming they’re all linked, and started talking about some kind of refund I was supposedly owed. The moment I started asking questions, she lost that cheery tone and just hung up. I wasn’t comfortable with any of it. So, I checked the number using 1471 and saw it was from Nottingham. I called back, heard the same woman but her voice was muffled and she cut the call again. I tried once more and got stuck on hold with music playing, but no one ever answered. Feels dodgy to me.
