When it comes to phone sales, I tend to give them a wide berth. I find it all quite amusing, really!

I recently received a call from that same number, but it rang off before I could answer. They didn’t bother leaving a message, which seems rather suspicious to me. Since you also got a call from them today, I reckon there's something dodgy going on.

The individual claimed to be representing Vodafone Sales; they had previously attempted to contact me from a different number just last week. I made it quite clear to both of them that if I was interested in Vodafone’s services, I would prefer to visit my nearest shop in person.

I received this number to ring up for some help from a mobile phone provider. You could end up sitting on hold for an eternity, listening to some repetitive tunes, whilst they intermittently inform you that all the agents are tied up and working to get you through. To make matters worse, they're charging you for the call the entire time! The initial voicemail greets you with a message expressing gratitude for your call but warns you that every single representative is currently occupied, and claims the wait could be around half an hour. You then have the option to call back later or stick around for what feels like an eternity. That same old message just keeps repeating, leading you to dial in multiple times before finally resigning yourself to a long wait without ever getting through.
