I hardly ever pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but I had a quick look on this site and it seemed pretty clear it was either a scam or some cold caller. So, I’ve just blocked it. Seriously, when will the government step in and sort these con artists out?

Received a call where they inquired about my name and address, which they managed to recite back to me accurately. When I pointed out that those details were wrong and insisted they’d dialed the incorrect number, they abruptly ended the call. The voice on the line had a hint of an Indian accent, suggesting it might have been a call centre over there.

Got a call from UK Choice, and I said no to everything - name, number, address, all of it. Obviously a dodgy scam trying to fish for info. She just ended the call, haha. Got a call from 01157180288 earlier but didn't pick up since I had no clue who it was. I'm gonna block it now because I never dialled them and they've bugged me a couple of times already. Can't stand these cold calls and those survey calls, all they want is your cash or personal stuff so they can pass it around or try to scam you. They're a real nuisance on the phone network.
