I've been getting about 5 to 10 calls every month, which is really annoying. I reckon they must've nabbed my number from some dodgy website claiming to provide financial help. Totally unacceptable.

My sister, who’s disabled, got a call from someone saying they were doing council work nearby. I asked a couple of actual council workers I know, and they had no idea about this ‘system’ they mentioned. Bit suspicious, really - could easily be a scam.

Got calls from them three times just today about some ‘recent’ car accident that supposedly happened within the past three years. I told them I haven’t been involved in any crashes, and then they suggested maybe it was another person in my house. When I asked for more info, they refused to share anything, saying it was because of data protection rules.
