I don’t get why OFCOM can’t just block these numbers automatically. If a number gets reported like 25 times, there should be some kind of system to shut it down straight away. Seems like something they could easily do.

This morning, I received a call from the number 01156942781. A woman with a foreign accent was on the line, asking for me by name. It’s quite concerning how they managed to get hold of my personal details. I believe BT, the company that manages these phone lines, really ought to implement stronger measures to curb these irritating and often fraudulent calls.
