When I answered, there was this strange sound on the line, and the caller said they were from Three Mobile. Felt fishy straight away, so I just hung up. Definitely one of those scams!!!

I just ignored the call since I figured it was probably spam. They left a really short voicemail, like 3 seconds, but all you could hear was the usual background noise you get from a call centre.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying they could get me discounts. They already knew loads about my account before I said anything, which was weird. They also sent me a text that looked proper official with a code in it. I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them. Best thing is to just hang up straight away and don’t give out any passwords or details.

Received a phone call from someone purporting to be from O2. They said they could slash my monthly bill by 30%. Then they proceeded to provide me with a code that seemed to have been generated by O2. As soon as I cottoned on that they were about to request the code from me, and given that the message explicitly warns against sharing such information with callers, I promptly terminated the call.
