Got a call from that number again today, the 1st of March, at around half past four. I recognised it as a dodgy number, so I decided to let it ring out.

Today, on the 8th of January 2024, my Call Guardian picked up a call from this number, but to my annoyance, they didn't bother to leave a message. As a result, the call got cut off before I could answer. It's quite irritating when the phone rings only for it to go silent straight after!

Received a call claiming to be from the government concerning our boiler. The chap claimed to be calling from Manchester. When I asked him to communicate via written correspondence, he provided me with an address I haven’t used in ages. I firmly told him to cease his scamming attempts. He went to great lengths to assure me he was legitimate, but then admitted he was actually calling from India. I managed to keep him on the phone for a solid twenty minutes (that's a good chunk of time he wasn’t defrauding anyone else). In the end, he gave me his so-called "phone number" along with a date for another chat this evening!
