Today, on the 8th of January 2024, my Call Guardian picked up a call from this number, but to my annoyance, they didn't bother to leave a message. As a result, the call got cut off before I could answer. It's quite irritating when the phone rings only for it to go silent straight after!

I picked up the call, but there was complete silence on the other end. So I piped up, “If you’re not going to chat, don’t bother calling me!” and hung up. After that, I thought it wise to look into the number, and given what I’ve seen in the reviews here, I've now blocked the lot.

It’s clear that a lady from a call centre, likely with an Indian accent, didn’t address me directly; she seemed to be chatting away with a colleague in what I assume was Hindi before abruptly ending the call when I failed to respond. Interestingly, the very same number rang my phone last week while I was out and about, but they left no voicemail.

Received a call claiming to be from the government concerning our boiler. The chap claimed to be calling from Manchester. When I asked him to communicate via written correspondence, he provided me with an address I haven’t used in ages. I firmly told him to cease his scamming attempts. He went to great lengths to assure me he was legitimate, but then admitted he was actually calling from India. I managed to keep him on the phone for a solid twenty minutes (that's a good chunk of time he wasn’t defrauding anyone else). In the end, he gave me his so-called "phone number" along with a date for another chat this evening!

Then, this morning, they called again, reminding me of yesterday’s chat, but I reiterated my disinterest. An hour later, they tried again, and all I could do was let out a big sigh into the receiver. Utterly dodgy lot! I've now blocked their number, and I suggest you do the same!

Rang me on two occasions and promptly disconnected without uttering a word. Clearly, it's just a bothersome nuisance call!
