Somebody rang me pretending to be from EE, saying I could get an iPhone 14 for free and that they'd cover my current phone contract balance. It sounded too good to be true, so I asked for a reference number and told them I'd ring EE myself after having a think. The person said I should mention I spoke to Alan in Sales, then tried to arrange a time to call me back and gave me a number to phone. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

I didn’t pick up and ended up blocking the number, then switched off my phone just to be safe.
