I've had this number ring me too, and it also called my partner's phone yesterday. The person on the line claimed to be from O2, attempting to offer a reduced tariff. The thing is, both my partner and I are with Tesco, not O2! Let's just say my partner didn't take too kindly to that and firmly told them to bugger off!

Caution! This number is clearly a fake! I received a call from someone with a foreign accent, masquerading as a representative from O2, attempting to persuade me to reduce my current plan. They also probed for numerous details concerning my contract. Since I’m not even an O2 customer and recognised it for the scam it was, I decided to humour the situation and carry on chatting for a laugh. Once he caught on that I was merely toying with him, he became rather rude and promptly disconnected the call.
