Normally official callers ask for you by your last name. This one rang and wanted me by my first name instead. I told them a different name, then they just hung up. Weird.

I got a call from 567 12345, these guys were saying I had some insurance money I hadn’t claimed. They asked for my bank info, but it felt fishy so I didn’t share anything.

this number 01156712345 from nottingham rang me earlier. i didnt know who it was but answered anyway. the person on the other end wanted me to verify my name but i refused. then they asked again if that was indeed my name, i said no. i asked who they were and they said they worked for the benefits dept. as soon as they said that, they hung up straight away. ive blocked that number now. honestly, its a scam, dont give any personal info to callers like this!

I got a call from someone claiming that I wasn’t getting all the benefits I should from my life insurance. But when I asked which company they worked for, they couldn’t name it. The caller kept pushing and finished by saying they’d look up the company and ring me back. Feels like they were just after my policy info for a scam or something.
