I received a call from a gentleman who had quite a thick accent, possibly Indian or Pakistani. Despite my efforts to clarify the name of his business-asking him not once, but twice-he seemed unable to articulate it clearly. When I requested him to spell it out for me, he didn’t comply. He was trying to pitch me a service that would cost £40 a month, but the details were utterly lost on me. Frustrated, I ended the conversation. Overall, the interaction felt rather unprofessional.

I received a call from a woman who had a particularly thick accent that sounded quite foreign. She claimed to be calling from a billing department, though I couldn’t quite catch the name of the company no matter how many times she repeated it.
