So this woman called, called herself Sharon, and said she could cut my landline bills in half - said it'd be like saving £4 or something, so not exactly life changing! From what I’ve seen about other calls with this number, it’s definitely dodgy, probably a common trick with old scams. I’ve been on the TPS list since it began anyway, so I’m gonna report it there.

Got a call from some Reliable Replies or something, asking for cash to sort out a contract on my stuff. Sounded dodgy, honestly just trying to nab my debit card details. Classic scam from Lorraine, I'd say.

i really dont get why some folks actually bother calling back numbers they don’t recognise, especially when there’s no voicemail or anything left. no surprise really that loads of people get caught out by phone scams these days.

i picked up but nobody spoke, so i just blocked the number straight away.

When I picked up, it was dead quiet like nobody was even there.

I picked up the phone, but there was no one on the other end. After about twenty seconds of unexpected silence, the line disconnected itself. Weird, isn't it?
