2 yearsI received a call from a woman who identified herself as being from the Sky Upgradation Department-those were her exact words. When I questioned her authenticity regarding Sky, she backtracked and said she represented a partner company instead. I expressed my disbelief in her connection to Sky, to which she responded rather condescendingly that it was my issue to contend with. At that point, I decided it was best to hang up.Sky Upgradation DepartmentSky2 yearsGot a call just yesterday from someone pretending to be O2, sounded Asian and their English was pretty poor. I told them to quit bothering me. Seriously, don’t get caught out by these lot.2 yearsThis call dragged on forever, first some Asian bloke with terrible English, then another one who kept trying to say I was getting a discount on my O2 plan. What cracked me up was when he claimed it was 20% off, so I’d only pay 70% - that made no sense at all. I asked if he needed any info from me, and he said no. But then he asked for my email again, and I told him, "You’ve already got it." He goes, "Just confirm your email, sir," and then I just hung up. Such a weird and pointless call.2 yearsThis number rang me out of the blue and went straight to voicemail, but there was no message. Not sure who it was, but from what others have said online, it looks like it could be a scam.2 yearsSomebody rang claiming to be from O2, saying if my wifi was patchy, they could slash my monthly bill by about 30%. Now actually that part was true for me, but then they handed me over to another person. I’d only just woken up and it clicked that this was fishy, so before the second person could say much, I just hung up. I’m pretty sure they tried ringing again later, but this time from a number starting with 0758 instead of the earlier 0991.2 yearsI received an inquiry about my level of satisfaction with O2's services, but the odd thing is I’m not even subscribed to an O2 plan. How peculiar!2 yearsGot a call from someone who had a really thick accent and their English was pretty poor. There was loads of noise in the background too. They kept going on about some “amazing” deal on a mobile phone, but it was hard to catch much. When I asked which network they were working for, they snapped saying “none of your bloody business” and I just hung up straight away and put the number on block. Pretty obvious scam.2 yearsGot a call from them, didn’t pick up just left it ring. Total idiots, just scam calls.2 yearsSomebody called me to check if I was pleased with my new O2 contract. But then they just vanished. I tried ringing them again, only to find out it's some company called ATLC. No clue who they even are.ATLC2 yearsGot a call from this number claiming to be from 3 Mobile.
