I received a call from a bloke masquerading as someone from O2. He started off with the typical chit-chat, and once he'd convinced himself we were the best of mates, he mentioned I could snag a nifty 40% off my mobile plan if he could just verify a few personal bits and bobs. I've encountered this sort of dodgy nonsense before. When I told him everything with O2 was absolutely fine, he abruptly hung up. I really ought to have kept him on the line a bit longer—better that than him pestering others unsuspecting souls. It's disgraceful how these charlatans operate. We need to shine a spotlight on them and make their lives difficult. I've now blocked the number and I genuinely hope they catch wind of this message one day!

Received a call purportedly from O2, saying they were dispatching a new SIM card and providing a 30% discount. The person then pretended to be my "Account Manager" and got rather agitated when I declined to share my email. He ended the call abruptly. Without a doubt, it’s a scam!

Received a call on my mobile at twenty past five this afternoon. This person claimed to represent 3 Mobile, but I’m convinced it’s a scam. The number had a Nottingham area code, yet the caller had a strong Indian accent. I’ve blocked them numerous times, but it's as if they’re part of a call centre; they just keep ringing from various similar numbers. It's incredibly frustrating!
