Whenever I get calls from numbers I don’t recognise, I just pick up and stay quiet. It seems to confuse them and hopefully puts a stop to them trying to scam someone else. Got a call from some marketing company, said if I gave them my details they'd send info and I'd get a voucher plus a chance to win £1000. Sounds a bit dodgy to me!

Some call centre rang me up sayin I might get a voucher worth either £30 or even £1000. Didn’t wanna waste no time so I just hung up straight away.
