On 6th January 2017, I got several calls from this number but no one said anything. Then, on Thursday 12th January, a woman called herself Sophie and said she was doing a survey. She asked me for the serial number of my printer, but I told her I don’t do surveys, and then she just ended the call. They rang again the next day, Friday 13th January, but again no one spoke. I got a call today where the person asked about our printer’s make and model, then said they’d ring back in a couple of days. When I tried ringing the number they gave, it just didn’t exist - after the second 5, an automated message told me it was an unknown number. Turns out the call actually came from overseas. Just a heads up, if you’re with BT, you can report this on 0800 661441. They told me they’ll be rolling out new software later this year to help block these annoying calls. I’m not connected to BT beyond being a customer, but they passed this info on to me.
