Had a bit of a laugh with these lot, managed to convince three different people that I’d been in a crash. When they asked for my car registration, I just kept dodging it and asked which firm they were from instead. All they kept repeating was “Translink” and that they were based in Manchester, not Nottingham. Proper weird! The number’s dead now when I tried calling back, so I reckon they’ve switched to a new one. Why do these scammers always seem to use Nottingham numbers? Makes no sense.

Somebody called saying I was involved in an accident that wasn’t my fault. I told them I’ve never been in any accident and then they just ended the call. I wouldn’t bother answering if I were you.

This number 01155306182 is definitely a PPI scam. I got an automated message when I answered, no real person. My advice? Don’t bother calling back, just ignore it like it never happened. I did call back once, and within five minutes, the same number rang me again, so I’m pretty sure it’s all part of the same scam company.

Just saw I missed a call from this Nottingham number on my mobile. Funny thing is, yesterday a guy from the COOP funeral service probate office, also from Nottingham, came round to help sort out my dad’s estate. Bit of a coincidence if you ask me!
