This site is honestly a lifesaver with these annoying calls that won’t stop ringing my phone - cheers for that! Also gotta say, it’s the perfect spot to let out all that frustration coz we’re all human after all. Lol :-D It’s a relief knowing I’m not the only one bursting to vent but unsure where to shout it out.

They rang me loads of times in a day, didn’t pick up and just blocked the number. This started happening right after I got a bunch of scam calls last week as well.

Got a annoying call from some daft woman yapping about a car accident. Honestly, I wish she’d been in one herself!! Like who even calls someone outta the blue about that?

Some lady rang up sayin’ there’d been an accident involving me that wasn’t my fault. So I said, “Yeah, I had an accident in my pants and that wasn’t my fault either.” Then she went on askin’ me to confirm the accident, so I just told her to prove she wasn’t daft and told her to buzz off and find a proper job.

There was this bloke Johnny, said he lived right on the street. He kept hopping up and down on a massive fat toad’s feet. He shouted, "No clue what I should do." "This virus I caught feels worse than the flu." Then thump and crash, here comes a lorry strong. Johnny and the toad stopped their silly song. Croak croak and croak croak.

Another company calling, asking about an accident I supposedly had, which wasn’t even my fault. I tried explaining that the phone’s owner had passed away, but she kept pressing me to confirm the accident. I had to tell her off and politely (well, not so politely really) to take my number off their list!

These callers are trying to trick you into giving away your bank info. Just ask to talk to their supervisor, or question them how they knew about your ‘accident’ but not the date it happened - this usually throws them off and they’ll just hang up.

Seems like this 'Nottingham' number is just the latest version of those calls I used to get from 020 'London' numbers. Whatever happened to area codes actually matching your location?
