I got a voicemail from a woman claiming to represent HM Revenue & Customs saying there was a warrant out for my arrest and I was in trouble. It told me to press 1 to speak with my case officer or 2 to hear more about the case. It was quite alarming, but I’ve never had any contact with HMRC before. There’s no doubt it’s a scam, and honestly it left me feeling quite shaken.
