The caller asked me to press 1 to confirm I'd received the message but I can't quite recall what pressing 2 would do. Honestly, I didn't engage with either option. I'm 77 years old and live by myself, so you can imagine my unease. I'm quite suspicious that this could be yet another scam; I’ve had my fair share of calls claiming money has been withdrawn from my account.
