I keep getting calls from this number, and even after blocking it, it just rings through from a different one. They usually call me about four or five times every day.

This number has rung me a few times but my new BT cordless Truecall gadget picks up first and asks who’s calling. They just hang up without saying anything, so the only way I find out they called is by checking the call records. I used to get loads of spam calls everyday, but now it’s dropped to zero.

Somebody called, wanted to talk to the person who owns the house. I asked what the call was regarding, and they said it was about insurance for my washing machine. When I asked for more details about the insurance, she just hung up straight away. The caller said her name was Abbie. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with APC Insurance about my washing machine cover. He started off by saying my name and where I live, then asked me to verify the details. Before I could reply, he just ended the call.
