A bloke rang me earlier and sounded like he might be from Pakistan or India or somewhere nearby. He said my name had appeared as someone who owes money. I told him he’s got the wrong info and to stop calling me. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a ring from this number just a few minutes back but no voicemail or anything left.

This number 01147465896 called me claiming I owed some money and said they could 'help' me sort out payments. I played along at first, saying I owed money to see what they'd say next. They told me they'd send some forms for me to fill out and all that. But then I told them I actually didn’t owe anything and called them out as scammers. They hung up pretty sharpish after that. I usually get about 5 to 12 annoying calls like this every week, it's driving me mad.

Just like the person before me, I'm signed up with the TPS as well. Honestly, why don’t the authorities treat this kind of behaviour - which feels like stalking or harassment to me - as a criminal offence? These persistent calls are really getting out of hand. I got a call from ‭0114 746 5896‬ and I only made the mistake of picking up the phone! Total pain! Avoid this number if you can.
