Had more calls today from HMRC scammers, numbers like 07885 058771 and 07007 658296 kept popping up. Since I began using that popular parcel delivery thing where you gotta enter your phone number, these dodgy calls have ramped up. It’s got me thinking, are they actually selling our numbers or what?

Beware, these fellas are pretending to be from HMRC to scam folks. I managed to track down one of the bank accounts they use for moving stolen cash from UK victims and reported it. I got a call from this number saying they were from HMRC, warning me about owing taxes and threatening arrest if I didn’t pay up. The voice sounded like some kind of robot with a heavy foreign accent. This is actually the third time I’ve had calls like this from various numbers, even some starting with 07, each with a different story!
