Got a couple of calls from this number back on the 14th of January 2021. Seems like they're pretty persistent. I'm in the Attleborough area, Norfolk. Thanks for the heads-up about it being a scam!

They rang me twice but I couldn’t pick up either time.

So this number called me with a recorded woman’s voice pretending to be HMRC, saying something like “Ignore this and better get your lawyer ready!” I burst out laughing, it was so obvious it was a scam. But I can imagine some folks might find it really convincing and quite frightening. Definitely make sure you block this number on your phone. I even saved it under the name “scam” to remind me. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Christmas, stay alert out there! x

I got a message from 01147001557 saying if I don't ring back, solicitors would be involved and to not just brush it off. Bit worried about it all.

I got a call and they said if I didn't ring them back, I should "get ready for the consequences." Honestly, it made me chuckle, but yeah, it was definitely a scam!
