It was one of those automated messages, and the woman on the line had a distinctly American accent, claiming to be “Office Denise Gray” or something similar. She proceeded to issue a rather ominous warning about potential legal repercussions if I were to ignore her call. However, this particular call ranks among the more ridiculous of them all. To set the record straight, HMRC does not operate in such a manner. If you happen to have received this call, I strongly advise you to dismiss it without a second thought.

I find myself in a similar predicament-been warned about potential legal repercussions if either I or my lawyer turn a blind eye to this matter. I’m choosing to disregard it, but it’s a tad concerning considering I’ve had quite a bit of correspondence with my solicitors this year. How on earth do they have my number? Others who find themselves in a similar boat might just be easily swayed... as if failing to respond to some American automated voice could land you in hot water! Absolute nonsense.

I received a rather suspicious phone call at precisely 16:39 on the 8th of December. It's the usual nonsense that many have been reporting. What on earth is wrong with these twits? At the ripe young age of 18, I've yet to encounter any communication from HMRC, nor am I entirely clear on what those letters signify - I'm still getting the hang of things! However, getting a robotic message like that feels thoroughly unprofessional and obviously cobbled together by a novice. Thankfully, I can spot a scam from a mile away - I can't stand the lot of them!
