i got this automated call claiming to be from hmrc, saying legal trouble will come if i don’t ring back. the caller ID showed up as invalid, so blocking it was impossible. sounds like a scam to me and pretty dodgy too. the police need to step in and catch whoever's behind this nonsense.

So, got a voicemail saying it was HMRC. When I rang back, they asked me for a reference number, but I didn’t have one. Then they wanted my full name, but right after that the line went dead. This happened twice, then no one answered at all. I tried again from a different phone and they picked up as HMRC, but as soon as I mentioned a missed call they just hung up. The voicemail on the phone sounded like it belonged to someone named Daniel Thompson. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a voicemail from a bloke claiming to be HMRC, all he said was “yes” and then there was this automated message about me being arrested or something. Bit worrying honestly!

Got a call from 01147000087, some automated voice saying it was HMRC about unpaid tax. They wanted me to ring them back but I just ignored it and put a block on the number.

i got a call from someone saying they were from hmrc, telling me i owed some £2500 in taxes. they wanted me to pay £900 right away over the phone by 4pm or else id get arrested and they'd seize everything of mine to cover it. the guy was really pushy and quite rude. i ended up having to tell him off for shouting at me. i just hung up after that.

Got a call from this guy Dennis Gray, said he was an HMRE officer or something. Felt fishy so I blocked it - turns out it’s a dodgy scam. Watch out!

Just got a missed call from this number and when I checked my voicemail, some automated female voice said she was Dennis Grey from HMRE and said it was urgent to ring back. I looked up Dennis Grey HMRE online and found loads of warnings about it being a common scam. Definitely blocked now.
