Got a call from a woman with a strong Geordie accent, saying she was calling from So Energy and asking if I fancied a quote. I told her no, explaining that the gas and electric accounts were all under my partner's name, so I wasn’t the one handling it. Then she asked if he was around, I said no. She then wanted to know when he’d be back so she could ring again, but I politely declined. Suddenly, her tone shifted completely and she got quite nasty, going on about why I wouldn’t get a quote and insisting that since we use energy, we should just get one. I told her again, I don’t have access and if my partner wanted a quote, he’d look for one himself. We’re content with our provider and frankly, she was being quite rude. She shouted back “NO I’M NOT!!” and that’s when I ended the call.

They actually asked for me by name, which was odd as I’ve never dealt with them. I asked how they got my number and they said it came from a third party.
