I got a call today about life insurance, they were pretty polite about it. Told them I've already checked out life insurance options before, so asked if they could take my number off their list. Nice enough person on the phone.

this number keeps ringing me up every morning and night, sometimes even 3 or 4 calls daily. it’s supposed to be an insurance firm, calling me by name like they know me. when i asked where they got my details, they said it’s from their system database, just pops up on their end. they seem keen on pushing life insurance policies. not sure if it’s legit or some kind of scam.
